IN HONOR OF
Shayne M. Lindquist
November 5, 1975 — January 12, 2022
St. Paul, Minnesota · Age 46
SECTION 33 · HIS NUMBER · MINE
Built on Shayne's behalf and in his memory — so the next veteran who comes home from war doesn't have to feel lost.
THE MAN
Shayne grew up in St. Paul, graduated from Highland Senior High, and went on to the University of Minnesota. His passions were skateboarding, snowboarding, and his friends. As an adult, he counted his greatest accomplishments as his service to country and his two children, Zach and Taylor Beckman.
He is survived by his children and his mother, Sue Young, and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Florence Hoffman.
THE SOLDIER
[ Your words go here — Ranger school, 501st Airborne, deployments, the moments that defined his service. Send me the details and I'll fold them in. ]
[ Unit insignia, photos, citations — drop them here and I'll place them with the story. ]
THE FIGHT HOME
On January 12, 2022, after a fierce battle with PTSD, Shayne was lost. The enemy that took him wasn't on any deployment map. It followed him home — quiet, patient, and relentless — the way it follows too many of the men and women we send to war.
This app exists because that ending isn't acceptable. Not for him. Not for the next one.
Shayne battled in war — then with himself.
PTSD doesn't have to be silent.

#FINDYOURSQUADIN HIS OWN CIRCLE
"He was a good person — talked a lot about his mom and kids, very passionately. He loved them with all his heart. His battle with PTSD was a struggle, I saw it too. He's no longer suffering, but he went way too soon. I loved him back then and I always will."
